i have not always been a jester

This zine combines illustrations and text to tell my story as both someone with Tourette's Syndrome and someone who's obsessed with clowns. 

i have not always been a jester tells the history of jesters as it relates to the history of disability and my history as it relates to my disability. Instead of calling myself disabled I call myself a jester, and able bodied people are the court. I hope this zine helps both to educate people and to comfort them. Enjoy!
